■About “Open Innovation” Honda 3D prints of Front Grille/Rear parts
Kabuku Inc. (HQ: Tokyo, Shinjuku-ku, CEO: Masahiko Inada) and Honda Motor Company, Ltd. (HQ: Tokyo, Minato-ku, CEO and COO: Takahiro Hachigo) collaborated on a joint manufacturing project that utilized 3D printing technology in automobile vehicles. Specifically made for regional home delivery services, easy advertisement, and shipping, the vehicle was joint-manufactured to reflect these particular needs, such as our past collaboration with Toshimaya Inc. (HQ: Kamakura-shi,Kanagawa, CEO: Haruhiko Kubota). The current collaboration implemented a moldless process and digital manufacturing factory networks to distribute production by using rapid 3D design/3D printers, ultimately shrinking down lead times to 2 months and cutting back costs and time from traditional automobile development.
■About "Kabuku Connect"

By using the newest 3D printers that haven't been introduced to Japan yet, users can cut their costs by more than 40% off of the average domestic price by using resin and metal 3D printing for molding. In addition, Kabuku's highly experienced team of manufacturing engineers can help explain the pros and cons of each quotation order, recommend you the most suitable 3D printing solution (Cutting, metal sheeting, etc) and answer any doubts and anxieties that your customers may have.
