Kabuku will provide comprehensive support for design and on-demand manufacturing services for Tier IV's AI Mobility used for logistics "Logiee"

Kabuku Inc. (Headquarters: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo, Japan, CEO: Masahiko Inada) annouced that it will be providing comprehensive support in design and on-demand manufacturing services for Tier IV's(Headquarters: Nagoya-shi, Aichi-ken, Japan, CEO: Kazuya Takeda) AI Mobility "Logiee". "Logiee" is a small mobile vehicle with an interchangable top that provides complete automatic mobility for short distance transportation, delivery, sales, shopping and a wide variety of different types of transport. In addition, from January 17 (Wed) to January 19 (Fri), Logiee will be exhibited at Tokyo Big Sight at the "10th Automotive World" exhibition.

Kabuku will be providing comprehensive support by utilizing its network of factories around the world. From 3D printing manufacturing, cutting, injection molding and a variety of other production methods, Kabuku will also be offering on-demand manufacturing services, design and planning to help propel manufacturing. As a University venture, Tier IV provides a development platform for automatic driving technology to research institutes of many manufacturers and Universities with open source self-driving technology software to open into the world. As of now, Tier IV has already installed this technology in over 100 companies in Japan and overseas.

Both companies announced their partnership on December 11, 2017, where Kabuku will be providing design and on-demand manufacturing service support while Tier IV announced their first foray step is developing a AI mobility for short distance transport, "Milee".

The second step of this partnership will be through the AI mobility for short distance logistics, "Logiee", where Kabuku digital manufacturing technology was used. As a result, man-hours for designing a car body to prototyping and production were drastically reduced. Including a broad variety of customization, this sort of short term car development cycle is the first to be realized. Tier IV strives to create a ecosystem for self driving mobility with further partnership projects going forward.

As of now, "Logiee" and the first step self driving EV "Milee" will both be displayed at the "10th Automobile World" exhibition from January 17 (Wed) to January 19(Fri) at Tokyo Big Sight.

Going forward, Kabuku will be providing on-demand manufacturing service to design and prototyping solutions; creating new manufacturing in all fields a reality.
